Pillar Nonprofit Network Spotlight
At Keela, we believe in the power of community . We believe being part of a community opens up countless opportunities for collaboration, cooperation, and added capacity. As our own community grows at Keela, we are seeing exactly this: that strength is in numbers. And we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!
As a testament to our belief in the power of community, we have recently teamed up with Pillar Nonprofit Network. With this partnership, we’re looking to arm nonprofits of all sizes, big or small, with the tools they need to do their best work and to expand their impact. As such, we’re thrilled to feature Pillar Nonprofit Network in this month’s Spotlight feature! We think they’re a phenomenal force for good and we’re excited to share their story.
Founded in 2001, Pillar Nonprofit Network offers a network for nonprofits in Southwestern Ontario, supporting members in fulfilling their missions and making valuable connections. They do so through increased awareness and advocacy of the nonprofit sector; by supporting the development of equitable workplaces in the sector; by promoting best practices; and by leading innovative strategic initiatives to address the sector’s challenges. Pillar Nonprofit Network also encourages bridge building within the nonprofit community and beyond, operating with the core principal that cooperation and collaboration are key. To top it off, for those interested in getting further involved in the nonprofit world, Pillar offers volunteer opportunities, networking events, and even an job board.
“Without a strong, stable and reliable public sector, we cannot be a community. Without an innovative, responsive and vibrant private sector, we cannot be a community. Without a caring, creative and compassionate voluntary sector, we cannot be a community. Without any of these 3 pillars, the community collapses. When these 3 pillars work in collaboration, harmony and mutual respect, the sky will be the limit.”
