This free webinar, presented by Selene Hur, Manager of Prospect Development at the YMCA of Greater Toronto, introduces prospect research, covers some best practices and demonstrates how it enhances your organization’s overall fundraising efforts. Topics covered include fundamental concepts, research techniques, free and fee based research tools, templates, ethical considerations and more.

This session is geared towards any nonprofit professional new to prospect research as well as major gift fundraisers at small and mid-sized organizations.

About Selene

Selene is the Manager of Prospect Development at the YMCA of Greater Toronto and loves introducing prospect research to new audiences. She has taught for several years at Humber College at the graduate level, and previously at Georgian College. Selene has also presented at several conferences, with a focus on prospect research fundamentals as well as her experiences as a solo researcher.

As an avid volunteer, she is a board member of Apra, Toronto Wildlife Centre, and past president of Apra Canada. Selene has thrived in the fundraising sector for almost 25 years, drawing upon her background in fine arts, nonprofit management, and information systems.
