This year, we focused on strategic enhancements and powerful integrations to ensure Keela remains the intelligent heart of your operation. Here are the six key updates that helped us achieve more together:

Shaping Keela’s Future, Together

Your ideas drive our innovation. This year, we formalized a way for you to partner directly with our product team.

1. Introducing the Keela Feature Suggestions Board

We launched a brand new feedback portal with in Keela, dedicated to allowing you to share your best ideas.

Your Voice, Our Roadmap: Now you can view feature requests from other Keela users, vote on the ideas that appeal most to you, and submit your own new feature ideas. This board ensures that our development roadmap is transparent and directly influenced by the people who use Keela every single day.

2. Launching the Product Advisory Board

Your feedback is invaluable, which is why this year, we took user collaboration one step further by introducing the Keela Product Advisory Board.

What it means for Keela users: We carefully selected a small, representative group of our most dedicated customers (our "power users") to work directly with our product team. This board acts as a vital advisory group, ensuring that we deeply understand real-world challenges and diverse use cases across the nonprofit sector. By partnering with this focused group, we can be confident that every feature we launch is market-ready and delivers maximum impact for all Keela users.

Speed, Reliability, and Data Mastery

We listened closely to your feedback and made significant under-the-hood improvements to speed up the Keela platform, especially in the areas you use most frequently.

3. Lightning-Fast Tables and Imports

We re-engineered core features for significantly faster loading and greater reliability.

Speed Boost: You'll notice much faster load times in the Contacts Table and the Transactions Table, along with a cleaner design and new filters that include new conditional logic for segmenting.

Reliable Imports: Our new Contact Import tool is built on a dedicated, scalable service, ensuring your large data uploads are faster and more reliable than ever, getting your data into Keela in a flash.

4. Household Enhancements

We made it easier to manage relationships and communication within your donor families.

New Tools: We added a Primary Household Filter to quickly segment main contacts, a dedicated Household Salutation field for personalized mailings, and improved filtering/export options. These updates make household management more flexible and streamlined.

Deeper Connections, Smoother Fundraising

This year, Keela joined the Velora integrated suite, alongside Aplos (true fund accounting) and Raisely (modern fundraising campaign builder). Velora is a new integrated suite that brings fundraising, donor management, and accounting together in one seamless experience to help you raise funds, nurture donors, and track every dollar. This partnership ensures nonprofits can excel in their operations in order to grow their fundraising efforts and ultimately, their mission.

5. Keela + Raisely: The Power Duo for Fundraising

We teamed up with Raisely to bring you next-level online fundraising capabilities. This integration combines Keela’s intelligent CRM with Raisely's advanced tools for peer-to-peer campaigns, appeal pages, and event ticketing.

What it means for you: Seamless, real-time sync of all donor and campaign data from Raisely directly into Keela. With Raisely, you get expanded fundraising options (like accepting Apple Pay/Google Pay and managing event tickets) while continuing to manage your donor activity tracking and outreach efforts in Keela. It’s a win-win!

6. Keela + Aplos: Financial Harmony & Compliance

The Aplos integration eliminates the headache of reconciling your fundraising data and accounting workflows. Aplos is a true fund accounting solution, and with the integration, now your finances are perfectly aligned.

What it means for you: All transaction data from Keela syncs to your designated deposit and expense accounts in Aplos. You can map your Keela "Impact Areas" to Aplos "Purposes" to ensure proper fund tracking and compliance, giving you real-time financial visibility and reducing reconciliation time.
