Learn How to Make a Great Impression as a Fundraiser
Yolanda F. Johnson, President and Founder of YFJ Consulting, LLC
Yolanda’s career as a successful performing artist and public speaker has given her a unique, creative perspective on the communications and presentation aspects of organizational and fundraising development.
With this in mind, she developed All the World’s A (Virtual) Stage, a special workshop using performance practice for fundraising and philanthropy. Whether it is the boardroom, a major donor meeting, a social occasion or an annual work review, everywhere you go is your “stage.”
In this webinar, you’ll learn proven performance techniques and advice that will help you to project confidence when you are nervous; relax in high-pressure situations, and make the very best possible impression in your career. This is a supportive, fun space to hone the “art” of your communications skills in the current virtual realm. There will also be a special section on how to communicate in a more inclusive way and with people of diverse backgrounds.
With more than two decades of experience in the non-profit sector, Yolanda F. Johnson has successfully led fundraising operations for a wide range of non-profit organizations, launching creative event, sponsorship and marketing initiatives that produced new streams of both contributed and earned income. Her fundraising expertise includes securing foundation, corporate, and government funding and cultivating a diverse major gifts portfolio.
In addition to leading YFJ Consulting, LLC, Yolanda is the Founder of WOC, Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy™ and President of Women In Development (WID), NY, the NYC area’s premier professional organization for women in fundraising and philanthropy. Yolanda has also had an outstanding career as a performing artist, as a composer, as a producer, as an educator, and she has used her background as a performer to become a sought-after fundraising expert.
