About Taylor
Taylor is a TEDx speaker, host of the Talking Shizzle podcast, and marketing innovator in the social
impact sector. Taylor is the Founder and CEO of branding firm Barlele and the recently launched
Creative Shizzle, a subscription-based graphic design service that is bringing great design to more
nonprofits and small businesses. In her marketing career, she has helped hundreds of organizations tell
their story in digital channels, including brands like Alzheimer’s Association, National MS Society,
McCombs School of Business, Susan G. Komen and many more. Taylor lives in North Carolina with her
husband, two children and dachshund named Lady. In her free time she loves to swim, ski, hike and also
spends a lot of time chasing Lady around because that dog always has something in her mouth that she
shouldn’t.

Christal M. Cherry is a nationally recognized nonprofit executive and professionally trained fundraiser.
With over 20 years in the nonprofit sector, she has supported higher education institutions, human
services organizations and faith based missions. Her career portfolio, as a full time professional and
consultant includes American University, the United Negro College Fund, Spelman College, Nicholas
House, the Interdenominational Theological Center, Florida A & M University, Action Ministries and the
GA Center for Nonprofits.
With passion and a wide breadth of experience, Christal works today with clients to help them mark a
clear path to success in board development. Her style is electrifying, inspiring, and energizing.
