The Changing Landscape of Canadian Donors

WEBINAR

Jennifer Robins, MBA, Director, Business Development- NFP Lead, Environics Analytics

The demographics of Canada have changed dramatically over the past several decades. With the release of the 2021 Census, this session will dive into the current demographics of Canada – where are we in 2024? In addition to demographics, with the rise in inflation and interest rates, cooling real estate prices, and a volatile stock market, we will also review some key insights into the financial well-being of Canadians. Rounding things out, we will overlay data on Canadian donors – Who are they? Where do they give? Why do they give? Pulling these macro trends together, we will discuss these changes through the lens of fundraising.

In this free webinar, join Jennifer Robins, NFP Lead at Environics Analytics, to learn more about the changing landscape of Canadian donors. Attendees will be able to leverage the learnings from this session and apply them to overarching strategic goals in their organization, including:

  • How these demographic shifts can impact fundraising programs, and where new opportunities are.
  • Identifying regional nuances that could impact local organizations, and how to mitigate against any of these risks, or plan for fresh possibilities.
  • Understanding which donor types are feeling the pinch with high inflation and interest rates and learn some tips on how to maintain those relationships.
